I am a BCACC registered clinical counsellor who specializes in Life Transitions. My years of education together with my personal experiences have given me a great desire to assist others in their journey to be the best they can be.
In my late forties I responded to life's call, moved from my life as an environmentalist and parent volunteer, and entered the Conselling Psychology Program at Trinity Western University, Langley, BC.
During my years of training, I dealt with the challenges of married life, the thrills and spills of raising teenagers, the hurts of past trauma, the loss of parents, anxiety around the unknown, and a public-speaking phobia.
Moving through my own life transitions has helped process and integrate my past traumas; I have been happily married for 25 years, my children successfully made the transition to early adulthood, I grieved the loss of my parents, my anxiety levels are manageable, and I can speak in front of a university class.
I can personally testify that healing old hurts, and processing past traumas will help you move through the changes in your life journey.
